Marina Fuel Islands

Marina fuel islands dictate which fuelling installation you have quite clearly. All elements of the fuelling equipment need to be non-corrosive and resistant to extreme weather.

The number one corrosive however is the salt water or general exposure to open water. To handle counter this, we supply equipment with the following specifications.

Fuel storage tank coated in an external specialist paintwork for marinas with roller shutter doors on pump cabinets having a plastisol coating to help prevent rust in extreme environments.

Fuel island management

We understand that the typical canal, lake side, dock, port or marina fuel island will be selling the fuel it stores and dispenses. In that case we highly suggest a MID or weights and measures approved diesel pump or dispenser. The C Series fuel pump is ideal as it can have multiple displays for both volume and value of fuel dispensed. This is a legal requirement and does not cost much more to add this feature to your pump by comparison, cutting corners will probably entail you procure a dispenser with just one display in the pump head too!

A high pump speed pump up to 180 litres per minute for larger vessels and slower speed for pleasure boats down to just 40 litres per minute, so is it worth considering a twin pump?
Extra long hose reel, we supply up to 10 meters with a mechanical retractable reel ensuring the island is safe and tidy. Not to mention no damage is done to the hose due to it having minimal contact with the ground.
